072411 - The Urban Tracker (On Eulogizing Amy Winehouse): If You Seek Amy

Amy Winehouse cover for Back To Black
rocker may be one misunderstood person in the world. His actuations could lead to controversy albeit he or she is trying to live a normal life.

His public acts could be highlighted or sensationalized to the point of humiliation but his music dramatizes otherwise. Amy Winehouse is Amy Winehouse till the beehived soul siren was found dead for unknown and unconfirmed reasons. She did an exit of her way not realizing much of her significance to her fans and her loved ones like the remembrance of those who perished senselessly in Norway's killing spree. She may have failed to realize she's much important than she's misunderstood. She could have figured more on many other situations putting her in a bad light but that's her normal side.

Her ranks could have simply put her among her predecessors like Fiona Apple, Sarah Mclachlan, Tori Amos. She could have inspired more with her no-nonsense sassiness and soulfulness. The fact that Grammy lauded her in  2006 with "Back To Black" LP  and with its commercial success yet she chose to be fragile. Perhaps there's some kind of rocky stigma  that Amy and the likes of Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain who all were dead by 27.

Maybe Britney's referred  to her if you check the lyrics of If You Seek Amy.
